FireProtect 2 AC (Heat/Smoke/CO) Jeweller is a wireless combined heat, smoke and carbon monoxide detector for indoor installation that works with an Ajax hub or radio signal range extender over Jeweller, at up to 1,700 m in open space. Its dual-spectrum optical smoke sensor detects smoke by the size of the particles in the air and does not react to steam, and a patented smoke chamber keeps dust, dirt and insects out. The heat sensor meets the Class A1R requirements of EN 54-5 and BS 5446-2, raising an alarm above 64 °C or when the temperature rises by more than 10 °C within a minute. The chemical CO sensor alarms on the accumulated dose (above 50 ppm within 90 minutes, above 100 ppm within 40 minutes, above 300 ppm within 3 minutes) and has a 10-year service life. A built-in siren sounds at 85 dB at 3 m, the hub raises an interconnected alarm on every fire detector in the system within 20 seconds, and LEDs show power, faults and alarms; the front button runs a test or silences an alarm. It is powered from 110–240 V~, 50/60 Hz mains (up to 2 W) wired to WAGO terminals on the SmartBracket mounting panel, so the detector can be removed without disconnecting the supply, and a non-replaceable CR-2/3AZ lithium battery keeps it working if the mains fails. It measures 122 × 122 × 54 mm, weighs 318 g and operates from 0 to 50 °C at up to 80% humidity. It comes in black or white.
