FireProtect 2 SB (Heat) Jeweller is a wireless heat detector for indoor installation that works with an Ajax hub or radio signal range extender over Jeweller, at up to 1,700 m in open space. The heat sensor meets the Class A1R requirements of EN 54-5 and BS 5446-2, raising an alarm above 64 °C or when the temperature rises by more than 10 °C within a minute. A built-in siren sounds at 85 dB at 3 m, the hub raises an interconnected alarm on every fire detector in the system within 20 seconds, and LEDs show power, faults and alarms; the front button runs a test or silences an alarm. It runs on two non-replaceable lithium batteries with a 10-year battery life, mounts on a SmartBracket panel, measures 44 × 86 × 86 mm, weighs 142 g, is rated IP20 and operates from 0 to 50 °C at up to 80% humidity. It comes in black or white.
